More the I Expected :) Apr 26, 2010

This Diaper bag is great!!! My daughter is only 9 months and this is my 3rd diaper bag to date, I started out with a Fleurville diaper bag sling tote and after about a month of frustrated use I called it quits! Second bag was a Ju-Ju-Be Pack-a-bee which is more of a large backpack and is wonderful for traveling or long days away from home BUT very big, bulky, and screams "Diaper bag." I really wanted an every day bag that looked simple and somewhat stylish. I compared this Babymel bag to the Skip*Hop Studio Tote in store and found this to be much more functional and light weight. The bottles we use didn't fit in the Skip*Hop bag's insulated bottle pockets (Located on the outside, so it's hard to deny your carrying a diaper bag with a bottle visible from the outside) but were nicely hidden away in this Babymel bag w/o taking up too much space from the interior. This bag is less structured then the Skip*Hop bag and can really fit MUCH More then you would think! I was able to fit: 2 bottles, plastic formula holder, 4 diapers, case of wipes, Changing Mat, Change of clothes, bib, hooded sweater, little case of food, 2 large toys, my essentials (Hand sanitizer, Lipstick, compact, phone), a paci, and some other random items with LOTS of room to spare! The two outside front pockets are nice for the important items (ie binkie, cell phone) and I used the larger back pocket to hold the Changing Mat. The strap is nice, and easier to attach to a stroller then I found Skip*Hop's to be on the Studio Model. The fabric is OK but it doesn't look too cheap, and from a distance it looks very nice even my husband was impressed!
Over all a great everyday bag for the mom who wants a bit of style out of her diaper bag!

My kids are 22 months and 8 months- and I wish that I had gone with my initial instincts when looking at bags while pregnant with number two. I almost purchased this bag then but decided to go with the Ju Ju Be Packabe. Don't get me wrong- that is a nice bag- but it is huge, heavy, and you definitely could not get away with disguising it as a regular purse. It ended up being relegated to the car trunk, where it still sits waiting with supplies in case of emergency situations like blowouts, stranded with a hungry kid needing a bottle, etc.
I just received this bag today and tore into the box in anticipation. The bag presents beautifully- it is a slouchy hobo style purse with a gorgeous quilted jet black print of upside down hearts. It also comes with a little Babymel keychain that is a heart. I normally don't go for heart-type stuff, but it is so cute and fashionable that it is delightful. The inside is a beautiful rockstar pink- bright and easy to find your contents. There are 6 inside pockets, a deep bottom, two front outside pockets that are narrow at the top and wide at bottom so things don't fall out, one insulated bottle pocket that zips so you don't see the bottle (though you either have to have a short 8 oz bottle or a 4 oz. I wasn't able to fit an 8 oz Drop-in with a cap in it) and one long back pocket with a magnetic clasp.
Basically, it holds everything you need. With two under two you can just imagine my bag contents: 4 diapers, wipes, boogie wipes, 2 books, snacks, spare toys, baby food jars, spoons, bibs, formula, table covers, flashcards, my own wallet and personal items, etc etc. Despite this the bag is very light when full, and has a nice heft that makes it easy to wear on one shoulder or cross-body. I love that it attaches to the stroller too. I have a Chicco Together which has a very wide bar, but the straps fit easily. I do use the Ju Ju Be "Be Ju Ju Be Be Set Bags, Dizzy Daisies" to keep the insides organized.
The only complaint I have is that they didn't take the time to apply a shoulder padding to the strap- which is wide but thin nonetheless. It isn't exactly painful to wear, but it could be more comfortable. I am going to finagle this myself.
Wonderful bag, you can use it as both your purse and your baby bag...you will not be disappointed!

My daughter is almost 5 and I still need to bring her snack, fruit or drink when we go out. I was using Aldo as mommy bag, and because I had used that bag a lot, so the zipper eventually broken after 2 months. Besides,the bag isn't water proof, so my daughter's drink spilled water in my bag a lot.
I finally decided to find better quality, waterproof, affordable, stylish and functional bag. I did a lot of research and finally ordered this bag from Amazon.When I got mine, The bag looks great! The perfect size for me (I am a petite girl, I need some bag not too big, not too small). I carry this bag with me all the time and I get compliments from friends and family. They don't even realize I am using diaper bag until I told them.
Note: The outside 2 SIDE pocket can PUT -- My daughter's Thermos. Foogo water Bottle (Length: 7.5 "; Width: 2.5 ")
The bag contains a lot of pockets either inside or outside, (Outside: 5 pockets, Inside: 6 pockets)
it easy for me to manage my stuff and my daughter's snack or drink.
I highly recommended this bag !

I'm very happy with this bag. I was going to buy a Petunia Pickle Bottom, but I wasn't sure the one I wanted would work for twins. So, I decided to try this. It works great, looks nice and is much less expensive than P.P.B.!

I ordered this diaper bag because it's gender friendly. However, a little too masculine. I love the pink inside and the thermal pocket though! Also, the heart is a cute feature, however, it kept falling off and eventually I lost it. If you really like it I recommend changing the link chain to a keychain loop (I think that's what it's called). All and all, I like it.
