WOW!!!! Apr 07, 2009
Love these they are so absorbent on my daughter and super soft. they do tend to pill over time, but I never cared about that really I bought them to absorb and thats what they do. they are thick, but not so much that they cause that bubble butt effect. I use these at night and have not had a leak yet, YEAH!!!!!! I have used all kinds of cloth diapers on my 6 children, AIOs, fitteds, prefolds, you name it I've tried it and these are my favorite. They have no waterproofing on them so they dry quickly in the dryer or on the line, they wash very well and would definately be able to be used on 2 or more children if cared for properly. One size of these will last a longer period of time on your little one, unlike the ones with elastic and velcro. In fact my daughter is now a skinny 21 months and 23lbs and we just started using the size mediums.
The only thing I did not like was of course the price, but I guess you get what you pay for and these are quality diapers. Save your money people and just start with these prefolds you'll be glad you did. LOVE THEM MORE ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Around the house May 12, 2009
By Gloria Campos It was hard to convince my husband to try reusable diapers. These are the first diapers we have tried and he was impressed. I guess he assumed they would be tough to clean and the baby would make a mess all over the place. I liked them too, but I'm waiting to see what other types are like. These diapers hold urine and poop :) well though they do require a diaper cover. They are also bulky but we only use them round the house so it isn't a big deal to us. It's amazing how much money parents can save with reusable diapers and they have been updated so much from the past that they aren't terrible like we have been lead to believe. The picture however is a little misleading. I thought they came with the snappi's too. They didn't. I should have read better. I ordered them later but using baby pins works just as well.

great diaper for cooler weather Apr 03, 2009
By Julia I bought a 3-pack of these to try out and so far (after about 6 uses each) I am pleased with them. Compared to regular flat diapers (Chinese or Indian pre-folds)these are much more absorbent and I am using them without a liner with my 4-mo-old daughter who is a heavy/frequent wetter. They do soak through, but the diaper covers don't get wet. They wash up nicely and dry quickly considering the density of the material. (I boiled mine to prepare them for first use, rather than washing 6 times, as some companies recommend, to get the natural hemp oils out.) I also like that these diapers are trim fitting, even with a cover, and can go under regular clothes without distorting the baby's shape like some fitted diapers do. I am only giving them 4 stars out of 5 because I have yet to find the *perfect* diapering solution. I'm not sure for how long the snappi will hold on this material, though it seems ok so far. My main concern is that I think these diapers will be too hot/ not breathable enough during hotter weather. For cool days they work great.

Absorbent, but don't use Snappi fasteners! May 26, 2010
By Elaine Ellerton These are nice and absorbent, BUT the Snappi fasteners, shown in the photo, do not work once you have washed the diapers a few times. Well, not without trying over and over again. This is hard to do with a squirming baby that wants to put her hands near those sharp things!
update: I ordered safety pins and they don't penetrate the material without pushing so hard that I may possibly stab my child. I now only use these in a pinch, I use BumGenuis mostly and other prefolds instead. I use these to lay on the ground when I want to give her some naked time.

good supplemental diaper Feb 02, 2010

These flats are super absorbant, and do the job. I prefer not to use them in the traditional manner, however, because baby still feels the wetness against her skin and because they aren't quite as receptive to the Snappi as a cotton diaper. They are a little bit stiffer than cotton, and therefore a bit bulkier... so I like to stuff them into a pocket diaper or into a diaper sock before I place it in the diaper cover. This allows you to use the product for its absorbancy without compromising comfort and convenience. Good for night time as long as you have some kind of layer between the hemp and the baby that wicks away the wetness from her skin. Otherwise, you may find yourself changing the diaper simply because the baby feels uncomfortable, even though it still isn't leaking.
