Great Playyard! Dec 07, 2011
By Kelsey C I used this right when I got home from the hospital. The Bassinet feature is wonderful! I am currently onto the 2nd level because my baby outgrew the bassinet. It's very spacious & I love how both levels have great mesh ventilation on the sides. It's a very attractive play yard too. The only thing that could use improvement would be the mat. It's not washable & the cover is not removable. So when baby spits up, it soaks threw the fitted sheet & seeps into the mat. It's very hard to clean. I recently purchased some "large multi-use waterproof" pads at Babies R Us that I have been placing underneath the fitted sheet to protect the mat. I wish the manufacturer would provide their own though!

Not ideal for us Jan 17, 2012
By Mom of 2 I bought this for using downstairs thinking I would use the bassinet feature and changing station a lot on the first floor in our two story house. The bassinet pad is really hard and you can't really put anything over it to make it softer. I looked for a different "mattress" or padding/sheets to go over it but couldn't find the right size to give it a snug and safe fit. So the bassinet part is totally useless to us. As for the changing station, it tilts so when I put our little girl(she is almost two weeks old now) in it to change she slides to the left and is almost face first into the side of the changer. I have to lay her at an angle to keep her from almost being on her side. Also, the changer sits rather low so you have to bend over pretty far to tend to the baby. Half way thru changing I have to stop for a second and stand up to stretch my back. I am about 5'7 so not super tall. Wish I would have seen one and "tried" it out at a store before purchasing and putting it together.

Versatile, grows with you baby, cute design Nov 28, 2011

"Cooking is fun!"
We got this as a shower gift and originally thought we would use it as a playpen, but we ended up using it as a bassinet upon arrival from the hospital. We like that it has pockets and room behind the bassinete part (we have 2 small baskets there: 1 for dirty diapers, 1 for dirty clothes). Since she sleeps with us we like having room for diapers, wipes, changing terry-cloth mats and, next to the 2 baskets, we have burping clothes and clean onesies. In a way we have her whole room in one place and right next to our bed. We had her very comfortably in the bassinete from birth to 3 months and now have graduated her to the "2nd" level, which is a lot larger. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is that on this second level the "mattress" seems awfully hard. When I'm changing my daughter and she kicks away, I can her the thumping sound it makes against the hard mat. I assume it's due to safety, not sure, but the bassinete didn't seem as hard. My husband put it together and said it was ok. So far we have not used the folding changing table. In summary: PROS: Tons of pockets (and if using bassinete, storage space behind) Versatile - bassinete+ playpen+ crib+ changing table Grows with your baby Cute Takes work to assemble, but not too hard Mesh sides - very breathable Wheels on one side makes it easy to move CONS: The only one so far is the hardness of the mat when in stage 2 I do recommend it

Awesome Apr 09, 2012
By A. norvell I totally love this thing. I really only wanted it for the bassinet feature but my husband talked me into the entire thing. She loves it, the little box that sits on it has two vibrate speeds, plays music and lights up. She settles right down when she hears the music and sees the light. It has been a lifesaver with being able to store stuff in the pockets and how easy it is to move around the house. Now that she is transitioned from little baby to bigger baby, the bassinet is no longer needed so we broke it down and put it in the closet. It has a couple of levels, she is still young enough for the first level. It folds easily and transports on airlines, you just check it with the stroller. Totally recommend this.
