1Rediculous and misleading  Feb 27, 2011
By Jonathan Then
Typically I like to give positive reviews and this would be a positive review except there are certain problems that unless you the consumer are notified in advance by reviewers like me, you would not know.

the bassinet performs fantastically, assembly is easy and requires some muscle work but the directions are clear and concise.

However. nowhere in the description of the product does it state you MUST USE PREEXISTING SEAT'S SUN VISOR/HOOD!!!

this is only a problem if you are like me and have a diamond seat, a onyx seat and decidee, oh I want a Ruby bassinet. a heads up or a written description would have helped stating that the second seat frame AND HOOD COVER needed to be utilized for this bassinet.

other than that major issue, this bassinet performs flawlessly and is quite sturdy, we also have a City Jogger Elite with the soft bassinet, that one is much longer and has a decent zipper cover that can double as insulation (blanket) this one, has a flimsy cover that does not offer any heat/protection like the previous model bassinet.

Final Note -

Great bassinet, however make sure you have the seat in the same color unless you want a two tone bassinet!

5Amazing - Love my baby jogger for my twins  Sep 13, 2011
By twingirls2011
These bassinets were absolutely amazing to have this as an option on our baby jogger stroller. We love our stroller, we have 3 month old twin girls and this was so great to have when they were first born. It is very easy to conceal your baby and it keeps people from wanting to touch your babies. i was comfortable taking my girls out in public with this at a very young age, it has the really cool zipper mesh that goes around the front of the canopy, so your baby is totally not able to be seen by others and it keep them in their own little cocoon of happiness while you eat dinner stroll the mall, etc. I guess my only complaint would be that with it all cooped up they get no breeze, so i don't recommend if it is a bit warm where you are at.

4Great Addition  Jun 04, 2011
By HBLC "HBLC"
We have used this bassinet nearly every day of the month since we brought our daughter home from the hospital. It makes a great 2nd bed downstairs during her afternoon naps, and is perfect for strolls into town or naps in the yard while we are gardening. As other reviews mention you do have to use parts of the frame and the canopy from the child seat that comes with the stroller to create the bassinet seen in the picture. But presumably you aren't going to use both the child seat and bassinet with the same child. If you have two children you will have to purchase a second child seat anyway. So far we have loved this stroller and all it's accessories! We would definitely recommend it. (Our one wish would be that the bottom/base of this bassinet folded in 1/2 for easier storage and travel.)

3Bassinet too small for 4 mo old  Dec 23, 2010
By Burli Burl
My baby is only 4 months old, so too young for the regular seat on the City Select, which states 6 months is the minimum age. But she's already too big for the bassinet. What do we do in this in-between phase? Stuff her in the bassinet, or sneak her into the seat too early? I wish the City Select bassinet could accomodate her at this age.

1DO NOT PURCHASE  Aug 02, 2011

You have to take apart your existing seats to make this work so you cant easily interchange the bassinet with the reg seat. They totally cheaped out making it. Such a nice stroller but such a TERRIBLE bassinet.
