Great for babies that love tags Aug 17, 2010

We love this simple and colorful toy. The beaded plastic end makes a fun teething ring. The pages are made from silky, brightly colored fabric that has numbers on one side and photo-realisitic pictures and words on the other, including a dog, cat and sailboat. The front page is crinkly which is a bonus. My 6 month old child loves toys with detail, like tags and prints and she finds this very appealing. Great price too.

This toy is very brightly colored and looks like a baby would enjoy it, but I think that I was more taken with the toy than my 6 month old! I like the crinkly noises that the first page makes. My 6 month old really has no interest in it except to chew on the pages for a few minutes, then he throws it down. They soak up saliva and get very wet very fast. You have to wash this toy and let the cloth pages drip dry. Maybe I will try it again in a month or so when his attention span is a little longer.

My baby really enjoyed just playing with these cards before. But now that she is teething, she abosolutely LOVES chewing on it....so much that we now take it along everywhere. She loves the crackling noise the cards make and spends a lot of time just munching away on the toy.

My baby is 6 months old and she is still attracted to Baby Einstein Shapes and Numbers Discovery Cards. Best thing is that I can wash it as my baby loves to chew on the cloth.
