Best travel crib, ever! Apr 04, 2010
By Mom at work The best travel crib in an awesome color. We did ALOT of research. Pricey, but worth every penny. Materials are high-end and soft- not like the hard plasticy feel of most pack-n-plays. View the video- it really packs up very quickly and is very light and portable. So sturdy (even for inside use (Phil and Ted's is not for inside- requires floor posts best for dirt) and is great for larger babies. Most peple don't know, Pack n plays are not reallty meant for use for babies much over 1 year (check on the weight restrictions)...this can be used for the entire toddler period - sturdy enough, meant to hold the weight, and plenty of room. Only negative is bottom is close to floor, so if floors are cold(we live in MN), or if allergens are an issue where you are staying(our daughter's allergic to cats and dogs), we keep her in bed with us instead- away from the floor. Best used as a bed, not playpen, unless you have a small baby. Buy this travel crib!

Met our expectations Sep 06, 2010
By Eric Fish Purchased this for our 19-month old daughter for traveling and spending the night at grandma and grandpa's house. It is as easy to open and close as the company claims it is - from the time you start unzipping the case to the time you have it set up, with the sheet on the mattress and everything, is about a minute. Taking it down is about the same, so pretty happy with it there.
It's not super light, but it's definitely not a struggle to carry. Beware that the folded up crib will not fit in the overhead bin of an airplane, so you have to check it with regular luggage and pay any associated checked baggage fees.
In terms of comfort, our daughter didn't have any trouble sleeping in it. We chose this crib over some others because the mattress seemed a little thicker (and therefore more comfortable) than some of the inflatable travel crib - don't think we had any complaints/concerns in this department.
Only issue we had is that when grandpa tried to collapse it to pack it away, the piece holding the spring on one of the legs broke off. We called customer service and they e-mailed a pre-paid shipping label the same day so we could return it. We had a brand-new replacement crib in about a week. Top marks for customer service so far.
