Huge help for a GREAT mom!! Apr 13, 2010
By J. Weaver I'm not sure why so many people are rating this product when they obviously have never used it..I guess you all think that we 'neglectful' mothers are throwing this thing around our baby's necks, tossing them on the floor flat on their backs, and leaving the room so that they can choke to death, right? Are you KIDDING me????!! Geez...
I use the baba buddy once a day, when I'm cooking dinner. I put my daughter in her high chair (slightly reclined), and roll her into the kitchen with me. I love that I get to spend that extra time with her, and she loves watching mommy move around the kitchen. I am never more than 5 feet away, and I'm constantly watching her if she happens to cough or gets full. I have'nt yet needed it on an outing to the mall or a long car ride, but its great to know that help is there if and when I need it!
That being said, the only thing I dont love about this product is that they are designed for straight bottles. If you use Ventaire, or other curved bottles, you will need to adjust the incline for proper flow, but this is easily solved with a folded handtowel under the pillow. Also, it would be nice if the fabric were removable, rather than machine washing the entire pillow (it takes a pretty good while to dry), this way you would have interchangable designs also..kind of like the Boppy!
Overall, this product is very helpful for the busy mom who wishes she had another set of hands, but like any product, it has its flaws. At the end of the day, I would definitely recommend the Baba Buddy to other moms!

By Cici My son has no problem using this bottle holder. It works great and has allowed the whole family to eat at the same time!

a life saver Feb 18, 2010

As a mom of twins who used a similar product, this is a LIFE SAVER. It is impossible at times to feed two screaming babies at the same time when you are alone. You can easily prop up the baby on a boppy or couch cushions and use this -- and YES, BOND with your babies! For those who bash it so readily, I'd like to see you feeding multiples.
Very useful product when used right Aug 02, 2011

After reading the wide-range of views on this product, I wanted to express my views - I use this product every day about 3/4 times a day. I have my third child and no babysitting. I also have a child who tends to be a cat napper and therefore I must utilize my time as efficiently as possible. I am never more than a few feet away from her. It allows me to finish the dishes, make a phone call, make lunch for my boys, or sit down for dinner. So in general I love this product. As for bonding - I get plenty of that during the day and we have a wonderful bond so far - there are plenty of ways to tailor that. My only caveats: that it's made only for long straight bottles. It won't work with the shorter and wider Advent bottles. I also cannot get it to fit a snuggly around her neck as suggested, but I am ok with that. You have to work with it. If it's too low for good milk flow, then you have to put a rolled towel under it too, but the point is that it holds the bottle well. For the record, she has only started to cough in it a few times and I was always right there. Lastly, young babies who fall asleep with this will have to still be picked up or pushed forward to burp. A product I use a lot is a product I can recommend as long as you use your common sense.
Baba to the rescue Mar 15, 2011
By Sandra Gonzalez I am a new mom to fraternal twins (boy and a girl) so I ordered this in blue and pink. It has been a huge help during feedings and has allowed me to get my babies on the same schedule. The only complaint I have is that I can't get it to snuggle around their necks as shown in the pics, so we end up using a blanket to prop the babas up during feedings.
