Good first start, no frills. Mar 31, 2011
By Katie Jean We've had this now for about two months. Originally we intended to use a pack and play for cosleeping, but turns out baby didn't like that. The cosleeper has been great in general though there are a few quirks about it.
General Observations: Pro or Con depending on how you look at it. 1. Height - so the standard height it comes at seems to work for traditional beds on shorter metal frames. But for our pillowtop beds, its a few inches short. You can buy extensions, but I recommend getting regular bed risers. They're cheaper and we found a set at bed bath that fit the feet of the cosleeper exactly and brought the height right to our pillowtop beds. 2. Portability - it does fold up small and everything packs back into the bag. I'll say though it is a bit heavy for its size and the buttons to initiate the folding are behind fabric sleeves so it's easy to miss them even though the fabric has markings that say push here. Also you have to do the fold in a special order (bottom first) or it won't work. Bottom line is practice about two or three times and you'll have it down.
Pros: 1. Smaller size is great as our rooms aren't that big so it makes it easier to get around it in the middle of the night. 2. Storage compartment underneath is awesome can take tons of stuff. Just make sure you don't put things in there you need to access often. 3. Wheels, the wheels on one side make it easy to move around the same floor, but if you're moving it to another level you should fold it or it's a two person job despite the size. The wheels also lock so no worries about its rolling around on its own. 4.Adjustable heights - you can adjust the hight at each of the four corners and we used this to tilt it slightly to help with baby's gas issues. This might not be a good idea once he can start rolling around on his own.
Cons: 1. I guess you can't use it that long, but do you really want baby right next to you forever? 2. It ain't that good looking, but then neither are you with a baby waking you up constantly.

Love this for nursing at night Jan 27, 2010

I loved my mini co-sleeper. It was great to just reach over and pull my baby over to nurse at night, but feel secure knowing he was safe from my covers over in his own area. Plus I slept better. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because 1) the price - wow! honestly it is a glorified pack-and-play, 2) my son grew out of it by 3 months (he had a huge growth spurt very ealy on and was in 6-9 clothing by 4 months). Of course that wasn't the item's fault, but I wish I had purchased the original size. Then he would have been at my side until he really started sleeping better (6-7 months).

Could be Better.... Jul 31, 2010
By Mellissa The quality of this item is NOT what I expected. I finally gave in and bought one of these after using a regular bassinet for my first two children, but I wish I would have saved my money. Judging by the other reviews, I thought that I was receiving a high quality item. However, this is a (small) glorified pack-in-play made of cheap plastic that actually cracked the first time I put it together. It was a corner piece covering the bolt, so it doesn't affect the functionality, but I am surprised that I was able to crack it in the first few minutes. I was surprised at how unsteady it was, even when fully and correctly assembled. I would never even consider using this as a free standing unit.
I do like that it has a higher weight limit than the average bassinet, however, the size is that of a normal bassinet. I had read several reviews stating that it was bigger than this, or that people had been able to use it for a longer period of time. However, I don't forsee being able to do this at all. Overall, it's just ok...at best.

we love it Jan 30, 2010
By L. Beckman I saw the co-sleeper in a parent/baby magazine, while I waited for my name to be called at a doctors appointment, and I liked it at first sight. I didnt want to buy it until I saw it in-person, so off I went to the store. After searching many stores, I found it and it was just what I'd imagined. We have it right next to our bed, and its nice. My daughter is 5 months old, and she still fit the co-sleeper.
I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good nights rest, and have their little one close.

Happy with it Oct 13, 2010

This was a very good product and we have recommended it to friends as an excellent, reasonably priced solution for co-sleeping with a new baby. We used it until the baby was about three months old. We expected him to co-sleep longer but that is how it worked out. Fits well in a small bedroom, and you wouldn't need anything larger than this with a newborn thru 3 month old.
We never bothered to secure it to the bed, that didn't seem necessary unless you were going to lean on it while picking up the baby, which seemed really unlikely. It never shifted unexpectedly for us. I suppose if you had an older baby who could theoretically get out you would need to secure it, but at that point you would need to worry about the sides being too short, so basically a non-issue.
We also never traveled with it, it just stayed in our bedroom. But it folds up the same way a pack and play does.
Would definitely recommend two fitted sheets, we had to change it more than once at 3am due to a diaper leak.
Also for what it's worth, the baby liked looking at the mesh sides.
