I've been searching high and low for a sippy cup for my baby who never took a bottle and transitioned straight to a sippy. The good thing about this cup is that you can tilt it upside down and there's a small drip of liquid that comes out. In other words, it is not spill proof. It works for my child because he's doesn't really suck the liquid out so the small drip will allow him to learn that there is liquid in the cup and he can start to suck. Also, it allows the parents to "force" them to drink. It's a good quality cup. It's thick (not the cheapy plastic) and the lid is very secure. It is also super easy to clean. There are only 2 parts to it (cup and lid!). These days, the sippy cups are so fancy and super hard to clean. You can also use this as a plain cup without the lid once your child graduates from a sippy. It makes a great kids's cup.

I originally bought these cups as Take & Toss alternatives for a toddler birthday party, but the three left behind have been used in our sippy cup rotation. They work well as a sippy cup, but as a bonus, they're actually great training cups for my 10 month old.
++ These cups are simple to clean because they are smooth and valveless.
++ They turn into a perfect little tumbler if you take the lid off... no screw top grooves.
++ They're stackable, as you can see.
++ The lids are very secure.
++ If a cup falls, the leak is minimal because the one opening is fairly small.
++ They're dirt cheap! I bought these for a birthday party, labeled all the cups with the kids' names, and sent them home as party favors.
++ The size makes it great for babies learning to drink from a cup, and so much easier than teaching them to suck for a valved sippy cup, which is what we did with our first baby.
-- Although they are dishwasher safe, you really should put them on the top rack. I put the lids on the bottom rack which caused them to shrink a bit. Now two of the lids are cracked on the edge from the stress of fitting them onto the cup. But they still work fine!
-- They don't come with a no-spout lid like the Tumble Mates, so it's more difficult to travel with than a valved sippy cup.
-- Shipping cost may increase the total price substantially
They really are perfect little reusable party sippy cups.

hard to find traditional sippy cups, todays sippy cups with the valves and soft spouts don't seem much more than a glorified baby bottle and we wanted a good old fashioned sippy cup, this did the trick. 7 month old is learning to drink from a cup using this sippy cup as a trainer.

I was so happy to find these sippy cups which are very similar in style to the tupperware bell tumblers with lids but a 6th of the price! They are durable and the lid seals on tightly. It will not pop off easily which is very important for as a toddler cup. My 17 month old is able to easily drink from it and not make a huge mess. If held upside-down, a little will drip out but it contains most of the drink. It is also perfectly sized for a toddler to hold.

This is the perfect cup for my two year old who is frustrated by how slow other cups empty but still needs a little help to keep from spilling. Of course, if it is upside down or falls off the table it will leak like anything else, but it dramatically decreases messes. They are easy to clean and pretty and cheap! Perfect!
